We encourage each of you to attend the Winter Business and Educational Conference hosted by Saline County LSP on January 13-14, 2012 at the Hampton Inn in Bryant.

Since the meeting does not require our chapter to spend the night, we expect to see you there for the legal education, fun and fellowship! Full registration for members is $35 which includes lunch. Deadline for registration is January 9, after that a $10 late fee will be applied. Check The Informer  for further details or contact me for more information (501- 375-2301).

I’d like to welcome to our newest member, Gayle Walton. We hope that Gayle will be able to attend the Winter Business and Educational Conference as we look forward to meeting her!

Thanks to all who participated in the Christmas party on December 6. Although the weather and traffic did not cooperate with us, we had a great time. Pictures of this event are included later in the newsletter.

Our chapter is hosting the 2013 AALS Annual meeting in Little Rock. Our committee will meet after the holidays are over to start planning the event. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to let us know.

We anticipate 2012 will be a great year for our chapter. If you are interested in serving as a committee member, please contact President Sheila. There is plenty of work to be done and it takes all of us to be successful.
